  • INDICATORS : Used to show weather the substance is acidic or basic . Most commonly used indicators are LICHENS 
  • Indicators when added to acidic solutions it turns RED and when added to basic solution it turns BLUE 
  • ACID turns Blue Litmus Paper RED 
  • BASES turns Red Litmus Paper BLUE 
  • when acids and bases both are mixed with each other we get SALTS which maybe Acidic, Basic or Neutral
